Admission Policies


Accredited by the University of the State of New York and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the academic program at Aquinas High School focuses on the empowerment of young women to be academically successful and work to potential.

Admission to Aquinas High School is Rolling until August 31st

In accepting students into the ninth grade, the following information is reviewed: Results of the TACHS (Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools) scores, applicant record of performance and standardized scores from the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. In accepting Transfer students, academic transcripts from previous years of high school are required along with any NYS Regent Exam scores. 

In accepting the number of students that will complement the present enrollment, the TACHS results are reviewed to ascertain the ability and achievement of students to successfully complete the academic program.  Students achieving at the 90-95th and higher percentiles are programed into the Honors Program.

All applications and supplemental documents must be submitted through FACTS Management.

Academic Scholarship Criteria

Academic scholarship criteria is based upon review of TACHS scores, applicant record, and academic performance at the scholarship level.
Review of TACHS scores must be of above 95th percentile. Academic scholarships are awarded during the time of acceptance.
