This course explores gas laws, structure of matter, periodic table, bonding and ionization, acid-bases, equilibrium and other such topics. Mathematics is used in calculations and operations. Laboratory activities, experiments and recording are an integral part of chemistry. Regents exam. (1 Unit)
PRE-REQUISITES: Biology course, passing grade on the Living Environment Regents exam and passing grade in Algebra. Science Department recommendation.
