This first level regents course in the New York State sequence is designed to develop a depth of understanding of mathematical content in verbal, symbolic, tabular, and graphical form. It includes relationships between quantities, reasoning with equations, linear and exponential relationships, descriptive statistics, quadratic functions, and use of equations in problem solving. The Algebra I (Common Core) Regents exam will be administered in June. (Unit 1)
PRE-REQUISITE: Incoming Students must retake this course unless they have a previous exam score 80% or higher on the Algebra 1 Regents exam.
