Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools renews accreditation, finding “excellence in the air” at Aquinas High School .

Each of ten Aquinites donates 10-12 inches of hair to Locks of Love for the benefit of cancer patients.

AP Biology class attends the 48th Annual Rockefeller University Holiday Lectures on Science.

Class of 2008 earns over fifteen and a half million dollars in college grants and scholarships.

Tiennhan Phan ’08 is recognized by the Path to Peace Foundation for her willing essay: Everyone’ Responsible for the Common Good.

St. Thomas Aquinas College confers honorary degree of Doctor of Pedagogy on Sr. Margaret Ryan in recognition of her distinguished service in secondary education, regionally and nationally.

Over 200 participants in the Aquinas Walkathon for the Needy raise $4,462 for projects from the Bronx to Pakistan and from Montana to Peru .

Thomas H. Maren Foundation Integration of Technology Program is completed, with schoolwide technology and an extensive, related curriculum now in place.

Varsity Volleyball places third in the CHASSA B Division – Archdiocese of New York competing in playoffs with Rockville Centre and Brooklyn Dioceses.

First year of the Aquinas Initiative for Math and Science Careers funded by the William E. Simon Foundation provides creative, new experiences at each grade level.

Ms. Kristin Sherwood receives the 2007-2008 Siemens Science Teacher Award for her extraordinary contribution to science education, and is invited by the New York Hall of Science to participate in the Dana Educator Series on the Brain.

Papal Youth Rally is attended by over 70 Aquinas students (easily distinguished by their Aquinas HS hats!).
